Our Mission

At San Diego Therapy Collective, our mission is to provide compassionate, trauma-informed therapy to adults who are ready to heal from the lasting effects of trauma + adverse experiences. We offer in-person therapy in San Diego and online therapy throughout California for survivors of sexual assault, intimate partner violence, childhood abuse, emotional abuse, neglect, and other traumatic experiences.

We believe that healing begins in a space where you feel safe, understood, and deeply supported. Trauma can affect every part of your life including your relationships, self-esteem, sense of safety, ability to trust, and even the way you feel in your own body. Our therapists are passionate about helping you move beyond survival mode so you can begin to feel more connected, empowered, and like yourself again.

We understand that no two stories are the same. That is why we tailor therapy to your unique experiences, needs, and goals. Whether you are struggling with flashbacks, anxiety, panic, people-pleasing, difficulty trusting others, chronic stress, or feeling disconnected from yourself, we are here to help.

Our Values

At the heart of our practice is the belief that every survivor deserves therapy that is affirming, empowering, and free from judgment. We are committed to creating a therapy practice where you do not have to explain, hide, or defend who you are in order to receive support.

Our work is grounded in:

  • Compassion and genuine connection

  • Trauma-informed care

  • Collaboration and trust

  • Inclusivity and cultural humility

  • Empowerment and lasting growth

We proudly stand with members of the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities, and are unapologetically body-, sex-, and kink-affirming. We know that many people have experienced harm, misunderstanding, or exclusion in other healing spaces. Our goal is to offer an experience where you feel respected, welcomed, and safe enough to heal.

  • Heather is the kind of therapist that I wish all therapy newcomers could have, and that many therapy returnees wish they'd had from the start! She is the perfect blend of keen insight, practical solutions, deep compassion, and a sprinkle of calling you on your BS. During therapy, she is committed to helping her clients increase self-awareness, develop new coping skills, and heal from trauma. Bottom line - if you're looking for a therapist who is inclusive, genuine, and empowering, Heather checks all the boxes.
